Susan Millar Boldissar holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and a Master of Music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She studied on merit-based scholarship for both degrees at these top tier institutions, and served as Associate Instructor of Violoncello and during her graduate work. Susan is also a composer and arranger of music —using these skills to write music fitting the unique specifics of instrumentation in her teaching, and has arrangements of her music published.
Susan has performed all across the U.S. and Canada as a soloist, as a chamber musician and with orchestras; and has decades of experience in teaching private lessons, group lessons, chamber ensembles, directing orchestral ensembles and conducting.
